1. Use of Timether

Timether is a software service that helps users and teams track time, manage projects, view reports, and understand work activity.

You may use Timether only in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws.

You must not use Timether for unlawful, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes.

2. Accounts

To use certain features, you may need to create an account.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information
• Keep your login details secure
• Be responsible for activity under your account
• Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create security, legal, or operational risk.

3. Workspaces, teams, and user roles

If you create or manage a workspace, organization, or team in Timether, you are responsible for:

• Inviting the correct users
• Managing access permissions
• Ensuring your team's use of Timether complies with applicable laws and workplace policies
• Informing team members about any monitoring, reporting, or time tracking practices where legally required

Timether is designed as a time tracking tool, not as hidden surveillance software.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law or violate third-party rights
• Upload malicious code or harmful content
• Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data without permission
• Interfere with the security or operation of Timether
• Reverse engineer, copy, or resell Timether without permission
• Use Timether to store highly sensitive personal, financial, medical, or government identification data unless we have expressly agreed in writing
• Abuse trials, discounts, promotions, or payment systems
• Use Timether in a way that damages our reputation, infrastructure, or service availability

5. Your data

You retain ownership of the data you submit to Timether, including projects, clients, tasks, time entries, notes, reports, and workspace content.

You grant us a limited right to process your data only as needed to provide Timether, maintain and improve the service, generate reports and usage features, provide support, secure the platform, and comply with legal obligations.

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of the data you enter into Timether.

6. Payments, subscriptions, and billing

Paid plans, subscriptions, invoices, taxes, refunds, and payment processing may be handled through DoDo Payments.

DoDo Payments may act as the checkout provider, payment processor, billing provider, reseller, or Merchant of Record depending on the checkout flow and region.

By purchasing a paid plan, you agree to:

• Pay the applicable fees
• Provide accurate billing information
• Follow the checkout and payment terms shown at purchase
• Allow recurring billing where you subscribe to a recurring plan

Prices, plans, and features may change from time to time. Any changes will apply according to the notice or billing terms shown to you.

7. Refunds and cancellations

You may cancel your subscription according to the cancellation options available in your account or checkout provider.

Unless otherwise stated during checkout:

• Subscription fees are billed in advance
• Partial billing periods may not be refundable
• Refund eligibility may depend on the payment provider, checkout terms, local law, and the nature of the issue
• Approved refunds may be processed by DoDo Payments or the relevant payment provider

8. Free trials and beta access

Timether may offer free trials, beta access, early access, or promotional plans.

We may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue trial or beta features at any time.

Beta features may be incomplete, unstable, or changed before final release. You use beta features at your own risk.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep Timether reliable and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Timether may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, infrastructure issues, third-party service failures, security incidents, or events outside our control.

We are not liable for losses caused by temporary unavailability, data delays, or third-party service interruptions.

10. Third-party services

Timether may rely on third-party services, including DoDo Payments, Google Analytics, Cloudflare, hosting providers, email services, and other infrastructure providers.

Your use of these services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

11. Intellectual property

Timether, including its software, design, branding, logo, website, documentation, and related materials, is owned by us or our licensors.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on Timether unless we give written permission.

12. Feedback

If you send us feedback, ideas, suggestions, or feature requests, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation.

We may use feedback to improve Timether or develop new features.

13. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, fail to pay fees, your use creates security or legal risk, we are required to do so by law, or your account is involved in fraud, abuse, or misuse.

You may stop using Timether at any time.

After termination, we may delete or restrict access to your account data according to our Privacy Policy and data retention practices.

14. Disclaimers

Timether is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee that Timether will always be available, will be error-free, reports will always be complete or suitable for legal, payroll, accounting, or tax use, or will meet every business requirement.

You are responsible for reviewing reports, exported data, payroll calculations, invoices, and business decisions before relying on them.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Timether and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, loss caused by third-party services, or loss caused by unauthorized account access where you failed to secure your login details.

Our total liability for any claim related to Timether will not exceed the amount you paid to us for Timether in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limits may not apply to you.

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of Timether, your violation of these Terms, your violation of laws or third-party rights, data you upload or process through Timether, or misuse of team, employee, contractor, or client information.

17. Changes to Timether

We may update, improve, modify, remove, or discontinue features at any time.

Where changes materially affect paid users, we will try to provide reasonable notice when practical.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When we update them, we will change the effective date. If changes are significant, we may notify users by email, in-app notice, or website notice.

Continued use of Timether after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

19. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, unless applicable consumer protection laws require otherwise.

Any disputes will be handled by the courts or dispute resolution process applicable in Sri Lanka.
